Our Mission

As a team of qualified, compassionate healthcare providers, we are able to sympathize with the toll mental health disorders can take on a person and their family. Finding an effective treatment can prove elusive. We've seen first-hand the deep frustration patients feel when yet another treatment doesn't work. It is our pleasure to offer a caring, inclusive, healing environment to those in our community who are suffering from treatment-resistant depression. We are confident that, through the care of our amazing staff pictured below, you will find a clinic environment that feels like family.

Beth Westermann

DNP, ARNP, CRNA

Beth is a Washington native, transplanted to the Midwest. She loves caring for Iowans, and the opportunities that being an ARNP in Iowa offers. As a CRNA, her professional passions revolve around advocating for CRNA practice, and expanding access to care for Iowans. Corridor Ketamine fulfills that passion by improving access to a much needed resource for both the mental health patients and mental health providers in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids corridor. In her spare time, Beth loves spending time with her family, traveling, and being involved in both state and national CRNA associations.

Trent Sassman

MSN, ARNP, CRNA

Trent is a US Navy veteran having served for 11 years. His duty stations include Naval Medical Center San Diego, USUHS, and Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms. Deployed experiences include time in Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Guam as well as onboard the USNS Mercy (T-AH-19) and USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). He loves spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, and playing golf or basketball.

Nicole has been a registered nurse for over 12 years with experience in adult mental health, ICU stepdown, and nursing leadership. She was born and raised in Iowa and enjoys expanding mental health care to our community. Nicole loves biking, reading, and when she’s not working you can find her trying to keep up with her 3 kids.

DARLENE DUDLEY

Patient care coordinator

Darlene is a Colorado native who currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. She has worked in mental health in various capacities since 2014. Her most recent achievement was developing a Spravato (esketamine) program at a local clinic in Nashville. She is dedicated to helping her patients find the relief they deserve from their mental health symptoms. In the future, Darlene plans to serve her community as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in non-traditional and emerging approaches to mental health care. In her free time, Darlene enjoys going to live music concerts, spending time in nature, watching documentaries, and eating good food.
